Last Page

book

Last page, written poignantly

-it weeps with overwhelming loss

-it sorrows from its very soul

– it feels another nail in the cross

Last page, written suddenly

-it grieves the unexpected passing

-it fears there will be no more peace

-it realizes pain deep beyond surpassing

Last page, written unfairly

– it possesses but one printed side

-it offers no chance for a response

-it cries as tragically it cannot be defied.

last… page.
